Skilled games artist, designer and programmer, with a passion for both games and film industries. Hard-working, can easily multitask and always happy to learn new skills to solve new problems. Dedicated to work and very communicative. Able to both coordinate a team and to be given tasks, respects deadlines and takes initiative. Very patient and calm, with an eye for detail.

I am the owner and sole partner of PolyToolDesign.

While still a student at Sheffield Hallam University, I improved my skills in design, art and code and I developed various team game projects together with other 4-8 teammates.
I took part in 2 game jams and worked together with teams of 6-8 people.

I participated in contests:
- EU council Romania logo design - ended up in final

- FilmMic short movie contest - Third place

- NASA art and design contests - 1 First prize, 2 Third prizes and 4 Honourable mentions

Working on an unannounced project as a Game level designer in close communication with Art and QA teams and keeping in touch with other teams as well.

Poly Tool Design

2020 - present

I developed 2 mobile games and I’m currently working on 2 VR games and 1 PC game. I’ve also:

·         created 2D and 3D models for the mobile games

·         designed and tested the UI/UX and asked for feedback from users

·         designed integrally the mobile game’s functionality and mechanics

·         developed games in both Unity and Unreal Engine (4 and 5)

·         written code in Unreal blueprints, C++ and C#

·         designed the VR games mechanics, levels, environments and story

·         developed a multiplayer RTS game, designed the map and balanced the units

·         solved problems regarding marketing, target, business plans, pitches, and SEO for which I had to find solutions.

I had to connect with the customers and talk about their vision of the final product.

I had to develop various 2D images, graphic designs, 3D art, 3D renders and 3D small animations from the ground up, based on the customers’ ideas or basic sketches.
